114 Terms of Reference
New terms of reference had been reviewed by Chair, Vice Principal Finance and Business Planning and Assistant Principal Performance and amendments were made. The Principal requested a minor point of clarity, under staff (point 13) in that it is a requirement of the Board to approve and set staff terms and conditions and pay. Chair agreed for this to be added in.
In the original Terms of Reference there was a requirement for the Chair of Governors to attend all committee meetings, which had been removed. Chair of Governors clarified that it had been agreed in a conversation with previous Clerk (SP) that he would be listed as a member of all committees other than Audit, as a matter of course.
One Governor requested adding additional clarity to Section 6, relating to the £250k threshold to reflect the whole life cost where it is not a freehold disposal. Clerk to review wording.
The Committee noted and approved the revised Terms of Reference.
