East Durham College is thrilled to announce that due to an incredible year in our floristry department, we have been nominated for two awards in the British Floral Association (BFA) Industry Awards 2018.

It's always great to see our students go on to further success after they leave us, and Emma Baker is doing incredibly well, becoming the University of Cumbria's first ever graduate with an Honours degree in Marine and Freshwater Conservation.

2018 has been an incredible year at East Durham College’s Sixth Form, ED6 as we have gained our best-ever results in A-Levels since the sixth form opened.

East Durham College are thrilled to announce that floristry lecturer Rebecca Hough rose to the occasion, beating the countries’ best 16 floral talents to be crowned this year’s RHS Chelsea Florist of the Year at the prestigious Chelsea Flower Show in London.
