JCQ Regulations

Exams held at East Durham College are subject and governed by the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ).

Exam Certificates

Certificates are posted out to your home address as soon as the college receives them. Please could you ensure the college has your correct postal address before you leave college.

Exam Support & Special Consideration

East Durham College can provide support to learners with disabilities, special educational needs, or temporary injuries in their exams. To apply for these access arrangements you must be assessed by Learning Support.

Apprenticeships are a job with training and are an excellent way to gain knowledge and valuable skills employers want.

Levels of Apprenticeships

We currently offer two types of apprenticeships at the College. Which level you undertake will depend upon your current qualifications or experience.

Higher Education Student Numbers

In order to help ensure that the student experience is maintained at a high level across the life of partnership programmes, there is a minimum of 12 students required to enrol in year 1 of each programme offered by East Durham College in partnership with the University of Sunderland in order for it to run.
