Become a Photographer with EDC

Photography is a fine art - there's so much more to it than just pointing your camera at something and clicking a button. With East Durham College, we can help you to discover how to take truly incredible photos; we'll explain everything from what all of those buttons do on your DSLR, to how lighting and different lenses can drastically change how your final shot appears.

Whether you're entirely new to photography or got some experience under your belt, East Durham College's photography courses will help you to develop as a photographer. If you want to just take great photos as a hobby, or want to expand your skills and potentially follow a career in photography, it's time to get started with EDC.

A careful balance of workshops, seminars, lectures, study visits, group and individual tutorials provides a structured framework for the development of your photographic skills, knowledge and creativity.
