A number of our courses require students to purchase uniform, protective clothing and/or specialist equipment.
You will have been told at your interview/enrolment if you will need to have any specialist equipment or a uniform/protective clothing for your course.
How To Order
Please read the following carefully:
Subject to your household income (less than £50,000) you may be eligible for free mandatory uniform/kit/equipment.
To receive any possible discount, you must first apply for EDC Student Financial Support via our PayMyStudent portal, click below:

Once you have applied, and been assessed by our finance team, you will receive an email confirming if you qualify for free kit.
Once you receive confirmation of any discount, please head over to our online kit store (see link further below!), login and when you go to make your purchase the discount will be automatically applied.
If you need to purchase your kit urgently and have not yet applied for financial support or heard about your assessment, you can still go ahead and purchase the kit you need and then claim back the cost if you are eligible. This will be paid directly into your bank account.
Clothing & Footwear Sizing - IMPORTANT
The college stocks sizing samples of all mandatory clothing and footwear items. Please ensure you try these on before purchasing to ensure you order the correct size. You will get the opportunity to try them on at Enrolment and Induction Week.
The EDC Uniform & Kit Online Store - Mandatory Kits (Excluding Sport, see below)
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY AND FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW:
- Access our online kit store below using the link
- Register for an account on the kit website
- IMPORTANT - once registered, a link will be sent you your email address to validate your account. Follow the instructions on this email. If you don't do this, you will not be able to purchase any items from our store.
- If you registered above for the PayMyStudent bursary, click the icon at the top right of the screen which looks like a man. Once in there, find the 'Linked Students' tab
- Enter your student ID number and date of birth into this section and save it
- You will now be able to purchase any relevant products, and your bursary discount will automatically be applied when you get to the checkout.
