What is renewable energy?
Renewable energy, also known as green energy, is derived from natural resources that are replenished on a human timescale. The most widely used renewable energy types are solar, wind power, and hydropower. Bioenergy and geothermal power are also significant in some countries.
Why study renewable energy?
As the demand for renewable energy specialists continues to grow, there has never been a better time to get into the field. Skilled workers and graduates are in demand by governments and companies are looking to reduce their emissions.
